BEEKEEPERS COME CELEBRATE THE HOLIDAY

Food – Potluck
OCBA will provide home-cooked turkey (thanks to Jim Rodgers for cooking our turkey!), country ham and biscuits, hot apple cider, beverages, plates, cups, napkins and utensils. Please bring your favorite side dish or dessert, if you can! If you cannot bring a potluck dish, no problem – come anyway! We would love to have you join us with or without a potluck dish in hand.
Photo Contest
You may submit ONE photo per season (winter, spring, summer, fall) for a total limit of FOUR photos to the contest. Winners will be selected by popular vote during the holiday party. Submissions must be received by Tuesday, December 9.

Important: Include your name and the season in the file name of each entry.

Corn Hole Game
No need to register or buy tickets – just join in on the fun at the party.
Cake or Dessert Walk
No need to register for this fun event – just bring a yummy cake, dessert, or your favorite holiday cookies to give away to the lucky winner(s). We will sell tickets to participate. Proceeds will go to OCIM (Orange Congregations in Missions) food pantry. If you have a question, please text Ginia Roll at (919) 287-6135.
Raffle
We have an exciting list of items that a person could win:
– a 4-frame, manual, tangential stainless steel Honey Keeper extractor with legs (donated by Matt Baumgartner, Orange County Extension agent)
– 2 stainless steel Ello water bottles (donated by Bailey Bees )
– a blue ceramic mug (donated by Bailey Bees)
– a Sun print pillow by Valerie Blettner (donated by Bailey Bees)
– 2 Poinsettia plants (donated by Eno River Farm)
– a 9-frame double-deep HiveIQ beehive with a medium super (donated by Nerissa Rivera)
Tickets are $5 each or 5 for $20. All proceeds will go to NCSU Apiculture research. You can purchase tickets the night of the party.
Food Drive
Please bring a can or two of food for the OCIM food pantry.
