OCBA Transitions to Online Monthly Meetings

OCBA monthly meetings will still be happening every 2nd Thursday of the month! We will be meeting by Zoom instead of meeting in person, as a way to continue to learn about bees, and share with each other, while practicing social distancing.  It’s also a great way for people to join us who may not normally be able to because they live far away, they can’t get a ride to the meeting, etc.  We hope to keep our strong OCBA community active during this time while we’re staying at home.

You may join meetings up to 15 minutes in advance so that you’ll have plenty of time to make sure your connection is working properly.  We ask that you mute your microphone especially during the speaker’s presentation in order to avoid unexpected disruptions.  We will not have our regular social time at the beginning of the meeting, so our speaker will begin close to 7PM, and we’ll follow that up with the business portion of the meeting including updates on education, outreach, clusters, collaboratives, and the website redesign group.  We will be recording meetings so that people can view the meeting at a later time if they can’t attend in person.

We recommend that you download Zoom before the meeting to save you some time.  Below is a link to do so.
