Libby Mack owns and operates Charlotte Local Honey. Their bee yards usually contain 40 to 50 hives. Libby teaches beginning and intermediate beekeeping courses in the Mecklenburg County Beekeeper’s Association. She assists with swarm removal, participates in community events and serves as a mentor for new beekeepers. She is the treasurer of the NC State Beekeepers Association. She will talk to us about swarm management and other springtime beekeeping tasks.
