OCBA 2021 Holiday Auction

The OCBA holiday auction is now open for bidding!  Please visit https://theocba.org/auctions/

When you place a bid, it will ask your name, Email address, and bid amount.  If you get out-bid by someone, you will get Email listing the item and new highest bid amount with link to re-bid on the item.  On December 9th after 7:15pm if you have the highest bid on an item, you will get an Email stating you are the winning bid and instructions for how to pay (PayPal which can process credit cards, bank draft, PayPal balance, and others).  Most items will be dropped off at Bailey’s Bee Supply after they are paid for.  They will be available any time during normal business hours through December 23.  I will make several trips to drop things off and my goal is within 2 business days after payment is processed.  Any large items, used bee equipment, or items that cannot be picked up by December 23 will have alternate arrangements made (contact kenneth123456@nc.rr.com for more information).

Good luck, have fun, and I hope you win some useful items.  Feel free to share the link with family and friends.  They might be holiday shopping for their favorite beekeeper.  You do not need to be a member of OCBA or on the listserv to place a bid and win.  However, we do not ship items–they are for local pickup only.

============================

A great December Holiday Party (December 9th) is in the works! Among
many fun activities for the holiday party, we will again have an online
auction to benefit the NC State Apiculture program.  Your donations of
beekeeping related items help make this program a success.  Last year we
had bee equipment (extractor, hive tools, log books, nuc box), honey,
bee themed jewelry, bee clothing, gardening tools (bees love for us to
plant flowers), beeswax products, beekeeping Barbie, and honey serving
utensils.

We plan for the auction to open for bids starting December
1st.  And the auction will end on December 9th during the holiday party
at 7:15pm (15 minutes during the party is set aside for final bids).
